First 10 with Sorina Fant is an engaging, online writing course that is tailored to the specific needs of each writer. Whether you just have an awesome story idea, or are simply looking for a creative outlet, my writing course will meet you where you are and guide you through several weeks of engaging, tailored exercises and thorough feedback in order to get you started. By the end of the 4-week course, a participant will have a minimum of the first ten pages (possibly more) of a longer piece.

 

This is a Creative Writing course ideal for people interested in writing fiction, creative non-fiction or looking to write a novel (even without prior writing experience or a solid idea) or for anyone looking for consistent creative stimulation.

How it works:

Participants will sign up for the 4-week course and will be a member of a cohort of up to six writers. Every Monday participants will be given 2 writing exercises and as the session progresses, the writing exercises will become tailored to the individual writer to help them develop their story idea. Each week includes writing exercises, detailed feedback, informational and motivational webinars, a fifteen-minute Skype session to discuss progression and the ability to communicate with fellow participants in the cohort. It takes 30 days to form a habit and after a First 10 with Sorina Fant class, not only will participants build up their daily writing stamina, but they will have a solid foundation for a longer piece.

Feedback is key to consistency and this course will give you the information and the confidence you need towards your writing.
