I had to find a way to remember the random Tuesday - the day during the week, the month, the year - that didn't have a special event like a birthday or graduation or the birth of a baby. Because Big Sister is four years old now and Baby Sister's first birthday is around the corner. And already I sound like a broken record asking where the time has gone.

Because I now am straddled to a family schedule for four people taking us places in four different directions. And even though parenthood has turned me into an amateur photographer snapping hundreds of pictures of my girls every day - these days at times run together. We wake up and race through the day going from one task, one event, one errand to the next.

So I needed to find a way to capture these days - these moments. I needed to find a way to see and remember the beauty in my every day.

I retired the old to-do lists on lined paper and instead will occasionally make a collaged to-do list.
